These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of TaurAi web applications, APIs, and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account, using the Services, or accessing any TaurAi platform surface, you agree to these Terms.
If you use TaurAi on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions by team members invited to your workspace.
3. Service Scope and Availability
TaurAi provides language intelligence features including translation, transcription, document processing, and related tooling for supported languages and use cases.
We may improve, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time, including feature limits and supported integrations.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services to violate applicable law, infringe rights, or process content you are not authorized to use.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse TaurAi systems, including bypassing rate limits or security controls.
- No unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful use.
- No unauthorized access attempts or scraping outside published access controls.
- No upload of malware or malicious payloads.
5. Customer Content and Rights
You retain ownership of documents, text, audio, and other content you submit to TaurAi ("Customer Content").
You grant TaurAi a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Services in line with our Privacy Policy.
6. AI Output and Human Review
AI-generated translations, summaries, and extracted information may contain errors. You are responsible for validating outputs before relying on them in legal, medical, financial, or other high-impact settings.
TaurAi is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or regulatory advice.
7. Fees, Plans, and Billing
Some features may require paid plans or usage-based billing. Pricing, quotas, and plan terms are communicated in your account or separate order forms.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Intellectual Property
TaurAi and its underlying software, models, branding, and documentation are owned by TaurAi and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited rights granted under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Third-Party Services
TaurAi may rely on third-party infrastructure or integrations (for example cloud hosting, messaging, and model providers). Your use of integrated third-party services may also be subject to those providers' terms.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security risk, or use the Services in a way that could harm TaurAi, other users, or third parties.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that reasonably should survive termination remain in effect.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
TaurAi disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaurAi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
Our aggregate liability for claims related to the Services will not exceed the amount paid by you to TaurAi for the applicable Services during the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, excluding conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in Zimbabwe, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. If changes are material, we will post the updated Terms with a revised effective date and may provide additional notice.
Your continued use of the Services after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
